Kimmie MacDonald was my childhood friend and I have memories of her when I attended her childhood birthdays and vice versa. My sister Natalie who's a few years older than me also attended these birthday gatherings. We were all good friends and we did have fun and Kimmie laughed a lot and so did we. We also attended the same elementary school,high school and the same school bus to and from school. Natalie,Kimmie and I also played dress up at her grandmother's house in Port Hawkesbury which was fun and we laughed. We all lived near each other and there was a break in time as these things happen but I saw Kimmie a few times around Port Hawkesbury and said "Hi." and I think she remembered me and she remembers Natalie and went to Natalie's outdoor flea market and that's how they reunited which is very nice. I shared a picture of Kimmie,myself and my sister Natalie at her birthday party and I remember this so well.- Kimmie is on the right,then Natalie and I. It's hard to imagine someone you actually grew up with has passed away suddenly because KImmie and I were born in the same year and it's hard to accept but,I truly believe Kimmie is resting in a good place and is with loved ones. She is no longer suffering and I hope she sees our parents and is in grace with them in the afterlife. I am offering my condolences to her mom Berl and her family and friends.

My younger sister and I grew up with Kimmie; she lived 3 houses from ours. We went to each other's birthday parties and hung out together. I remember being at her grandmother's house and we would play dress up in her grandmother's clothes. We were child hood friends but as everyone knows, sometimes, you loose touch with people in life as the years go by. I regret that. I knew that she was sick but I was still greatly saddened by her passing and at such a young age. She always had that great sense of humour and would make us laugh. She will be missed by so many people; so many people loved her. I will miss her so much; this makes me feel so sad. Our condolences to her mother Beryl and her siblings, Bobby, Gary and Dale and the rest of the family. Keep those memories alive and cherish them forever.

To Kimmie's Family,
I have known Kimmie since we were kids. We grew up in the same area. We have lost touch in the last few years. I have thought of her often and was saddened to hear she was ill. I just found out today to learn of the passing of Kimmie. I want to share my deepest sympathy to the family. I lived on Pleasant Hill when the MacDonald family lived there at that time also. Kimmie was a little younger than me though I knew Bobby and Gary . This was shocking to me to hear about this. Again my deepest sympathy.
