I worked for many years with Hans at Transport Canada where he was an inspector for many years ,and at the Nova Scotia Nautical Institute where he was an engineering examiner for our students.
Colette and I visited with Hans and Thelma on many occasions to share his favorite bratwurst sausages and black forest cake and to reminisce and share a few good stories.
Fairwinds and following seas, goodwill, and good luck to you my friend as you continue on the next leg of your journey.
Our heartfelt condolences to all of his family and friends.
