Obituary of Clinton Douglas Miller
Miller, Clinton Douglas 1975-2024 With profound sadness and broken hearts we announce Clinton passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 as the result of a pedestrian verses motor vehicle accident in Whycocomagh.
Clinton aged 48 years was born a precious little preemie on September 10, 1975 to Douglas and Lorna (MacKinnon) Miller of Orangedale, Inverness County.
Clinton was extremely close to all his family, he loved animals, especially his two cats, Badness and Blue Eyes. Clinton worked with his dad in the woods for many years. He had a great love of music; his favourite singer was Elvis Presley and he was an avid guitar player and singer, he loved to sing Merle Haggard, George Jones and Keith Whitley songs.
Clinton leaves behind his parents, Douglas and Lorna; his daughter, Caitlyn MacKay, Arichat; his grandchildren, Bellamy, Keanu, Kalolin; sister, Valerie (Shawn) MacLean, Medicine Hat, Alberta; brothers, Todd (Krista) Miller, Whycocomagh; Gordon (Jenna), Orangedale; and Lance (Angie) of Arichat; grandmother, Vera Miller, Sydney.
Clinton had many nephews and nieces he was very close with. He leaves behind his close friends, Chad, Catherine and Lorraine.
Visitation will be held in the Blues Mills Gospel Hall, 34 Mountain Rd, Blues Mills, NS on Tuesday, August 13, from 3 - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Blues Mills Gospel Hall on Wednesday, August 14 at 11:30 a.m. with Mr. Peter Ramsey officiating. Burial to follow in Stewartdale Cemetery, Whycocomagh. Memorial donations may be made to the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank.
Pallbearers are brothers, Gordie, Todd and Lance Miller, nephews, Chance and Damon Miller, cousin, Chad MacKinnon.
