My condolences to the Bolger family and Patti. Many times I was in Jacks company at the Point Tupper and Port Hastings residence. Also in the 70’s when Johnny and I worked at the Mill Jack was present. He knew his baseball and had a lovely sense of humor . His gentle conversation was my memory.

Maureen & all Jack's relatives, I send my deepest sympathy. Last month I visited Nursing Home & saw Maureen playing bingo with Jack then visiting in his room. I thought how blessed Jack is to have you & you all probably feel the same about him. I recall seeing his nephew pushing Jack in his wheelchair over around McDonald's. Jack was so devoted to St. Joseph's Parish & such a happy hospitality person. You're all in my thoughts & prayers during this time.

Uncle Jack was an amazing and loving man. He was a big part of our family since I was a small child.. So many beautiful memories of the Point Tupper days and then the Adults years..
We will miss him dearly and may he rest in eternal peace.

Where do I start. He was one great man with a heart as big as the world. Never complained and always smiling. Jack was always a pleasure to talk to. He loved his bingo at the home. He would repeat whatever game was up and then say, "if you don't want to say bingo hold up your catd". He'd then turn to me and say I use to call bingo for years you know. Another thing he use to always say" I don't bother you dear do i ". I would always say no Jack you don't. I don't bother anyone. I am a nice person. With that I would say you sure are Jack. Rest easy my friend. You sure will be missed. Much love and god bless you and Jack's family Maureen. He loved you dearly Maureen ❤️

Awww so sorry to read this… love Jackie.. he was one of my favourites. Remember him telling me the story how my grandfather bought him a pair of dungarees when he was 5 to wear to his father or grandfather’s funeral. He had a great memory and told me my grandfather used to go to his house in point tupper and have tea on his break when he worked for the CNR. RIP jackie

I am so sorry to hear about Jack’s passing. Pat, Jack and myself were a team of 3 for a number of years as Hospitality at St Joesph’s Parish. We were a good team.
He often told me about a time, long before I joined Pat & Jack.
Jack was the only one who was on Hospitality that day. He was so proud how he handled everything by himself. He liked the job and he was proud to be part of the group.
I enjoyed my time with him. He liked teaching me the trade and he was also fine if I found times he could use my direction.
The last year that he worked hospitality with me he often talked about his cat. He loved that cat.
Jack was a special guy with a big heart. I am sure he was a wonderful uncle and will be dearly missed.
Hugs to everyone
Cathy (Murphy) MacDonald
