Joan loved to shop so during one of her visits with Peter and I she wanted to go to the dollarama. I dropped her off and went on to do another errand. When I arrived back I went looking for her and she told me she had 2 aisles left to go down and I started to laugh. Rick and Joan were super hosts at Stanfest and they all looked forward to the music after in the kitchen and her seafood chowder and Saturday supper. Joan will always be in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. My sister-in-law, my friend!!! With love Sherry I will miss you!!!

I remember this one time Rick, Joan, Kevin, and I headed out of town in their old station wagon back then that was ummm let's say a luxury car; spacious, not rough at all lol, easy on gas Not, air condition let's say window up or down. To all of us in that car though; we felt like a million bucks. Lots of laughs, stories told and memories made. Rest in peace dear Joan, may you rest easy now and watch over us all.

Joan and I have been friends since Jamie Avery introduced us. She had never flowen before and wanted to go visit her son Stephen in Oshawa. I was glad for the company since I was heading up to visit my family in Erieau. We did ok! We did not get lost, lol! She was a good friend and took me in when I sold my house. We went to PEI to see Mama Mia in Charlottown and took in a few of the sights. Joan will be missed.
