I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Tex. He was the coolest guy and nicest guy, when I was growing up there. I remember him having a little drag race with Pedro Daniel MacLellan. DD in his Skylark and Pedro in is Fairlane 500. Tex won. I also remember how good a hockey player he was when we played outdoor and pond hockey. RIP champ.
