Pollard, Robert "Bobby" Francis - Age 69 of Port Hawkesbury. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert "Bobby" Francis Pollard, on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 at home in Port Hawkesbury. Bobby was born in Sydney on July 8th, 1950 a son of the late John W. and Anna (Ryan) Pollard. Bobby was a loving husband, Dad and Papa who adored his family. He worked and retired from the Town of Port Hawkesbury. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, cards and horses. You could find Bob down at the wharf or Tim’s with his many friends, or at the kitchen table surrounded by family. Bobby is survived by his wife and partner of 46 years, Judy (Forget); his sons, Jory and Robert (Tasha); his daughters, Shelly (Chris), Bobbi (Chad) and Caraessa (Russell); grandchildren, Bailey, Jordan, Christopher, Shea, Taylor, Aylee, Braiden, Neely Ray, Tyler, Daniel, Alex and Suri; his sisters, Joan and Marion; brother, Brian; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Dan P. and Mary Ryan; sister, Brenda; and brothers, Greg, Lawrence, and Jimmy. A special thank you to Dr. Collins and staff, Dr. Cooper, Kyla, Leah, Paula, Rachael, Paulette and Adele. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 27th at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury. Burial at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Bobby may be made to a charity of choice.
