Dearest Lise, Kevin and Peter,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Aunt Yvonne. She and Uncle Peter were a special couple in our lives. From a very young age I remember her warmth and what a welcoming hostess she was. My Mom always said she was a fabulous chef. I know she was a wonderful Mom who will be dearly missed but so fondly remembered. With much love and sympathy from all the Nugent’s.

It’s profound sadness and heavy heart of hearing of
Yvonne passing.
During the 1950’s, while in late teen her mother Emily
And dad, Nicholas, moved to Dalhousie. Very close to where we lived. It was during this period that a close relationship was developed between my sisters and Yvonne. She also became like a sister to me. She was
Kind, caring and had such a positive look on life.

Your mother was a dear friend of Mom's and mine. She and I had great chats especially over the last 4 years. How she and my mom put up with Peter Jr and I when we were young I will never know. lol

Yvonne was grand lady ! I only met her a few times in life and enjoyed these times She helped us to pick out the colors for St peter's church in Ingonish when I was parish priest there. Its not like painting a room in your house, if you don't like the color you just buy another gallon of paint and repaint? Her choices were beautiful and is a testimony to her skill and good taste!
