Joanne, Kerry, Aiden and Josh, we send our love and a huge hug to each of you. We are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with all of you. May your memories help guide you during this difficult time. I always enjoyed speaking to Hazel be it at the grocery store or when she came to Scouts to see her grandkids race their Kub Kars and Beaver Buggies or to pick them up from a meeting. Hello Robert and family. Sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Although I grew up in Port Hawkesbury I really got to know your mom when visiting my mother Vidie who was her neighbour and close friend. She was a very proud and strong person who showed a lot of compassion to others. I know her health was deteriorating over the past several years and she is now in a better place. Hazel was a close neighbour and friend. A familiar face in our house, sharing stories and recipes with mom. I loved her sense of humour and quick wit, she always made me laugh. They were great traveling companions and the first to send over a meal when the other was not feeling the best. A great lady indeed!
